Upcause is led by founder Caroline Goggin, who is driven by the belief that everything we fight for – or fight against – is incited by powerful storytelling.

Caroline started her career working at Giorgio Armani and in luxury fashion/beauty PR in NYC, where she kept asking herself the same question: “Why is it so easy to generate buzz around a new fashion collection or product launch, but not around the issues that affect our everyday lives?”

Caroline founded Upcause to bridge the gap between brands working to make the world a better place, and consumers hungry for substance. Her expertise spans the worlds of consumer, entertainment, tech and advocacy.

After the 2016 election, she traveled cross-country to gain fresh perspective into the opportunities and challenges brands face in engaging consumers in politically divisive markets.

Through this on-the-ground immersion and tapping into her network across industries, Caroline spots opportunities that ‘in the bubble’ agencies often miss.

Caroline’s magic lies in weaving complex issues into mainstream national conversations about lifestyle and business. Her work has resulted in high-profile coverage in outlets including The New York Times, Fast Company, Buzzfeed, TeenVogue, and more.
